Cause i mean going to Damon as Elena & “choosing” him made Stefan leave with Lexi & Silas’ “body” So Silas wanted to get Stefan alone, that’s what he did he pretended to be Elena to fuck with Damon’s head & get Stefan alone so he can take over Stefan’s life by dropping him into the ocean.

Also what Elena saying to Damon was weird that scene was off, like they were in the Salvatore living room, she wouldn’t say those things like right there, she would pull Damon into his room or something.

Plus she said Damon was the wrong choice, kinda weird that she would say that to someone she is choosing over her best choice.

She already saw Damon before giving Stefan the cure, why wouldn’t she tell him then that she loves him then, they were in his room then, but no she doesn’t she smacks him & leaves to give Stefan the cure then goes back to Damon.

Plus wouldn’t she tell Stefan that she is choosing Damon? I think she would, he would deserve to know.

Also when Elena was almost dying she thought of Stefan not Damon?!

Plus Stefan gave the cure back to Elena, why didn’t she tell Damon, he would want to know, & Elena would tell him.

This all points to Silas appearing as Elena and pretending to be her & choosing Damon to set Stefan off on his own.

This is just what i think. & the only way i can rationalize that Damon/Elena scene cause there is no way someone would choose the “worst choice” for them over the “best choice”.
